Y2SED3 7.8A 2 Phase DC Stepper Drive with Alarm Output 24-75VDC input t for Nema 34 Hybrid StepperMotor
1. Products Overview
This Y2SED3 is an price competative hybrid stepper driver with great performance and high reliability, long lifetime, which is ideal for price sensitive applications and customers.
Stepping motor driver is a device that realizes precise motion control by transforming electrical pulses into motor motion control current. When the stepper driver receives control pulses, the driver controls the current of the stepping motor to generate a corresponding rotation movement. Each pulse can rotate or move one step, so as to achieve accurate motion control through accumulated pulses.
According to the driving method of a stepper driver, there are mainly three types of driving methods: full-step driving, half-step driving, and subdivision driving or micro stepping driving. The main difference is the control accuracies are different and the micro stepping driving has the highest precision, which enable the motor to rotate more smoothly. Full-step and Half-step driving are not used a lot, so we focus on subdivision drivers.
The subdivision stepping driver has two advantages: extremely low vibration and high positioning accuracy, so it can be used in all applications which need a stepper driver. The basic principle is that the two coils of the motor are controlled according to the micro steps of sine and cosine waves respectively, so that a step distance is divided into several micro steps. For example, the 8 subdivision driver need 200*8 = 1600 pulses for each round. At present, the subdivision can easily achieve 128 segmentation, which means need 128*200 = 25600 pulses for one round.
Step drives are widely used in factory automation, carving machines, electronic product manufacturing, logistics sorting, robots, various special automation equipment, medical equipment, CNC machine tools, laser equipment, printing machinery, material processing, safety system, navigation system, industrial test and measurement etc. There are many fields such as measurement and metering systems.
